I use a service on my phone system that provides customized audio programming that allows my customers to hear messages while they’re on hold, rather than dead silence, music or radio commercials. I use it to tell them about services and products we offer, and provide helpful tips about ideas they might be interested in.

Many times customers who have been on hold for only a few seconds come back on the line with questions about something they’ve heard there. It’s been a tremendous boost to our sales.
