Solving Multiline Insurance Burnout

Multiline agents can sell so much insurance they may be burned out by the time they get around to life and health. Here?s how to avoid this tendency.

We in the multiline business have a tremendous opportunity for life, health and related sales. However, by the time we are finished with the homeowners, auto or business proposals, everyone is usually exhausted and suffering from insurance burnout. My tip to any multiline agent is to close your manuals and sell the next appointment at that time.

Most of the factfinding has already been done so that very little additional information will be needed. The next day, you can follow up with a nice thank-you note and confirm your next appointment in writing.
