Seven Steps to MDRT

Want to join the ranks of MDRT? Follow these steps.

So you’d like to join the Million Dollar Round Table? Although membership may not be easy to achieve (that’s probably why it’s so prestigious and why less than 1 percent of the world’s financial advisors are members!), you can qualify if you follow these seven habits for 45 weeks straight.

  1. Plan your day the night before.
  2. Start early (8 a.m.) and stay late (7 p.m.).
  3. Make a minimum of six preapproaches to qualified prospects a day to schedule a future appointment.
  4. Have a minimum of two selling or factfinding appointments a day, five days a week.
  5. Secure a minimum of three referrals a day.
  6. Study a minimum of one hour a day.
  7. At the end of the day (before leaving the office or while driving home) make one more call.
